Decorated Clay
Pipe Stem
A section of the stem of a clay tobacco pipe. This one has some interesting decorative patterns on it.
A lot of clay pipe stems were plain, reserving the decoration for the bowl, but sometimes they had patterns and makers marks stamped into them. I haven't been able to find a match for this one in any archive yet.
